The best SEO tool around is gone! Yahoo has announced they are no longer offering Yahoo Site Explorer (YSE) and have merged the tool into Bing's webmaster tools. Unfortunately this only works for you personal website, so the days of using Yahoo Site Explorer (YSE) to check out your competitors and get detailed link building information with Yahoo are no longer. There is a number of other tools out there that offer good detailed information, i.e. SEOmoz has a good site explorer tool, but you get limited access unless you become a paid member.
Personally this was my favorite SEO tool, easy to use, accurate and free. I had been using this tool consistently since it's launch in 2005. It was really the only reason I ever visited Yahoo. Sad to see this go away, but I'm sure it will give light to some new tools.
