The weather in Colorado across the Front Range has been poor, cold and rainy. It feels more like December then it does May. With that being said, I’ve still gotten out on the water a few times. I haven’t made it up to any big water, but have been to bear creek several times and caught some nice browns. Good dry fly fishing, the bigger fish seemed to be keying in on caddis and I was also having some luck with orange stimulators. The weather is starting to look better and I plan on heading up to bigger water very soon. I may try and take my little brother up to Cheesman this weekend and will report on the fishing!
